Testimonials As a family we absolutely LOVE the ABA. Sean is so responsive, which is not the case with many other sports clubs. The program is set up to grow their skills, have fun and play games. It is brilliantly done and the staff are amazing! Their game knowledge is great, but even better is their ability to keep drills and games fun. My son plays competitive soccer and rep baseball too, but ABA is where my he has the most FUN!
Rob Goldstein, ABA Parent The ABA is a terrific basketball program, teaching kids the fundamentals of basketball and making it a fun experience for all. But what I admire most about the program is that the coaches are some of the best leaders I've ever come across, emphasizing that the best players are also the best teammates and the best humans. The lessons my kid will take away extend far beyond basketball.
Stephanie Hodnett, mother of Owen Hodnett Pass, box out and help on defense. If you know how to do those things, you will always find a place to play. That's what my grandson has gotten from ABA coaching. The drills are fun, the coaches are supportive and the kids come out of the experience with a love of the game. What more can you ask for?
Mike Hodnett, ABA Grandparent and Basketball Enthusiast Your child will learn more than basketball skills. Coach Loucks’ leadership builds discipline, self-respect and commitment to a team, all qualities that serve both on and beyond the court.
Kathy Peel, ABA Parent and Supporter ABA taught my daughter more than just excellent basketball skills - they taught her sportsmanship and gave her a community. Every member of the ABA organization from top to bottom is an excellent role model. These are the people you want teaching your kids.
Mark Hodnett, ABA Parent The ABA has given our son, Hartford, an opportunity to play the game he loves in an organized and competitive environment. However, the competition is rooted in fairness, sportsmanship and learning sound basketball skills. We always look forward to ABA!
Moe Berg, ABA Parent I would also like to say that I am very impressed with the ABA League. It is so well organized and all the coaches and staff are great and the quality of the drills and games are perfect for this group of kids. Thank you for the great work all of you do. We hope to be part of the ABA for years to come.
Steve Arroyave, ABA Parent We have been part of the ABA family for over 10 years with both our daughter and son. What began with Saturday morning programs expanded to include summer camps, 3x3 leagues, high school workouts and culminated in our son playing rep for the Knights! All of the programs are very well-run and the coaching staff is amazing! Their enthusiasm and knowledge of basketball inspires the kids to improve their skills and compete while respecting the game and all participants.
Jeff W & Joanne D, ABA Parents As a former ABA player and coach, I cherish the countless memories and rewarding experiences. Coach Loucks is genuine in his pursuit to ensure every participant has a positive experience while attending the ABA and has always been there for his players and staff off the court too. All the coaches he recruits share the same passion and commitment and it translates to an amazing basketball program for everyone involved. I enrolled several friends and family members so they too can benefit from the program. Can't say enough of how much I loved Saturday mornings because of ABA!!!
Tameem Sharifi, ABA Alumni ABA was a great experience for my son when he was introduced to Coach Loucks almost 10 years ago. Not only were there clinics, house league and training sessions to join but there were other opportunities to participate in, the Gamecocks tournament, playing on the Raptors home court, volunteer opportunities and a trip to Europe to name a few. My son learned incredibly valuable skills both on and off the court. Coach Loucks is not only a great coach but a very kind person and it shows in his leadership as well as with the staff and volunteers that work with him.
